Casa Sotavento is able to offer a venue for a small seminar or course in beautiful surroundings. It can provide sleeping accommodation for up to 10 people in a newly built cottage and a completely self-contained wing of an adjacent house. Prices quoted are for self catering but we are happy to quote for half or full board at a very reasonable price. We are also happy to discuss and organise visits etc. so let us know your requirements.
The centre is set in a truly rural location yet is only minutes away from the fishing village of l’Ametlla de Mar or the more inland village of el Perello. It is set in its own grounds of olive, almond and carob trees and is on the edge of a pine forest with stunning views of the surrounding hills and mountains. It offers a real villa rental alternative to the urban spreads of places like Tres Cales etc.
Both l’Ametlla de Mar and el Perello have a good selection of shops and restaurants are less than 10 minutes away as are numerous small idyllic coves. The location is perfect to explore the historic city of Tarragona, the beautiful river Ebro or the Els Ports national park with Barcelona just an easy train ride away.
Facilities
The classroom is fully equipped with desks, whiteboard, Power Point presentation facility and internet connections and away from the depths of winter, sessions can take place inside or out!
The cottage has 2 bedrooms one with double bed and the other has twin beds. There is also a sofa bed in the living room. There is a good sized living room with dining area and a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The house a further 2 double bedrooms with twin beds, a bathroom and large living room.
Outside, there is a large area of grounds for exclusive use of your party including a small 4 metre by 4 metre pool and woodland BBQ area with stunning views of the countryside and mountains. Please look at the picture pages on this site for more pictures of the cottage and the views.
If you feel the need to keep in touch with the world, then the cottage has WiFi internet coverage. If you do not intend bring a PC with you, then you are perfectly welcome to access your e mail etc. from a pc in the house next door. The cottage and house also has Sky TVs and DVD players with a
