Cottage Rental
This recently built Catalan 2 bedroom cottage (sleeps up to 6) is set in a truly rural location yet has all mod cons & is only minutes away from the fishing village of l’Ametlla de Mar or the more inland village of el Perello. It is set in its own grounds of olive, almond and carob trees and is on the edge of a pine forest with stunning views of the surrounding hills and mountains. It offers a real villa rental alternative to the myriad urban spread holiday villas.
L’Ametlla de Mar and El Perello both have a variety of good shops and restaurants and are less than 10 minutes away as are numerous small idyllic coves. The location is perfect to explore the historic city of Tarragona, the beautiful river Ebro or the el Ports national park. Barcelona is an easy train ride away and Port Aventura is only 30 minutes away if you need a distraction for the kids. We find that most people just like to ‘chill’ at the cottage but there are so many places to visit we have included a separate page with some suggestions. These are just a small selection and we would be happy to talk more about the area.
